Contract for Web Page Design
This agreement is between CJ Enterprises and ___________________ (the client). The total amount of design work is $__________.___. Client agrees to pay 50% of this amount up front and the remaining 50% upon completion of the project. Completion of the project is defined as all areas of the web site finished using the materials given to CJEnterprises at the start of the project and if a new Domain Name was requested, the domain name properly registered with InterNIC.
All design & HTML is optimized for Mozilla or Safari or later, 800 x 600 ppi, 12pt default browser font size, 32 bit (millions of colors) unless otherwise specifically requested by CLIENT.
Additional versions of the completed site may be created to accommodate a different browser, a different screen resolution, a different default font size or a different color scheme (i.e. 256 colors only) upon the request of CLIENT at an additional cost which will be bid on as a separate design contract
Changes to an active design project to accommodate a different browser, a different screen resolution, a different default font size or a different color scheme (i.e. 256 colors only) can be done upon the request of CLIENT at the rates specified in the Cost Estimates section web page.
Additional material or changes provided to CJEnterprises by CLIENT during the site's construction may be considered as an increase in the original bid which amount shall be agreed upon by both parties and amended to this agreement before work will begin to include additional material into the existing project.
If the amount of additional work exceeds the total of the original bid then 50% of this additional work must be paid up front before work commences on these additions with the remaining 50% paid upon completion of the project.
Additional work to CLIENT's site may include work outside of the scope of simple graphic design and HTML which is billed at the rates specified in the Cost Estimates area. Graphic design and HTML authoring is billed at a rate of $85.00-$100.00 per hour.
The completion of this web site is projected to be no more than ____________ from the time of commencement of work on said site, contingent upon receipt of all materials required to complete the site.
